The Christmas songs are now rushing in. This time it’s the talented Onos and Eric Arubayi who cook up this cool Yuletide tune titled ‘Silent Night’.

Although the title of the song is familiar, this is not your usual embellished and fluid Silent Night. It cannot even be called a remix of the age long Christmas song. It is starkly different and uniquely arranged. There is a bit of indigenous influence. In one line, Onos sings:

“That day wey Mary born Jesus, she know say she don born beta,”.

The name Onos might not ring a bell yet, but she has been around the music industry for a while and has sang in several choirs. She is presently one of the lead vocalists at the House on the Rock Church in Lagos.

This is one song you wouldn’t mind replaying over and over as the celebration period draws nigh.
