SPOTTED: Skinny Jennifer Hudson looks under-dressed

Jennifer Hudson looked under-dressed recently on the red carpet when she was spotted wearing a granny-style sweater, tiny pair of red hot pants, teamed with tights and shoe-boots.

The actress/ singer shed 80lbs to get to her goal weight but for some reason didn’t want to flaunt her new figure on the red carpet at the Lucky Shops event  Thursday night, December 6.

Daily Mail reports:

Oscar winner Jennifer appears on the front of this month’s magazine, talking about her impressive weight loss.

The 31-year-old star, who has lost 80lbs thanks to Weight Watchers, admitted she was shocked when she was asked to slim down while on American Idol.
She said: ‘The first time I was asked to lose weight, I was like, “What??” Where I come from, I was never considered particularly heavy.’
In fact Jennifer loves the ‘flexible’diet so much that she has roped in several family members to join her, with the group losing a total of 2,000lbs.

She told the publication: ‘It’s great because before we eat — say, before a holiday or a big family reunion — lots of us are saying, how many points is this, how many points is that, so we’re together on it.’

And although she may be counting points, Jennifer admitted that her fiancé and the father of her three-year-old son is far stricter on himself when it comes to his diet.

Jennifer confessed: ‘Cheating for him is like, one chicken wing, instead of skinless chicken breast! He is like, no carbs; he only uses two or three seasonings, total, ever. He really understands.’

Jennifer is launching a new clothing line on QVC, JH Collection, and says she is still coming to terms with her trimmer figure, taking a picture of herself every day.

She said: ‘It’s taken me a long time to feel it, get used to it. I’m still figuring it out with my body—rediscovering myself, how I’m perceived.’

But the star added: ‘With my new weight, it’s like I have more room to play — sometimes I feel like I’m my own doll, dressing myself up.’

Jennifer also said the most important thing when it came to designing her collection was ensuring it would look good on women of all shapes and sizes.
She explained: ‘It has to look as good in size 16 as it does in size six. Would my old self love this as much as my new self? Could big Jennifer wear this?’
