Study: Men content with sex life if they’re doing it more than peers

According to a new study conducted by Tim Wadsworth of Univ. of Colorado, men are happy when they're having more sex than their neighbors.

Everyone knows that scientifically speaking, men have an insatiable appetite for sεx. Women are often left wondering if they will ever be able to fulfill their man’s desire for intimacy. Fortunately, a new study may help women gauge the amount of intimacy it will take to satisfy their man’s cravings.

According to a recent study conducted by Tim Wadsworth, an associate professor of sociology at the University of Colorado, most men are happy if they think they’re having more sεx than their peers. Wadsworth was shocked to discover that even couples who engaged in intimacy regularly reported lower levels of happiness if they thought they were having less sεx than their peers. Conversely, people who thought they were having more sεx than their peers reported higher levels of happiness, even if – in the great scheme of things – they weren’t having that much sεx. There’s an overall increase in the sense of wellbeing that comes with having sεx more frequently, but there’s also this relative aspect to it,” said Wadsworth. “Having more sεx makes us happy, but thinking that we are having more sεx than other people makes us even happier.” If you’re wondering just how you can find out how much sεx  your peers are having, Wadsworth says you can find out through your online and off-line social network. He also suggests checking out frequent media polls and listening to gossip at your local pub.
