T.B Joshua needs a lawyer! Families of South African victims to institute a lawsuit

by Kolapo Olapoju

Two South African men, who lost relatives in the 12 September collapse of the a building in the premises of the Synagogue church of all nations, have declared their intention to sue the church founder, Pastor T.B. Joshua.

As at last count, 115 people were reported dead in the collapse of the church hotel building, 84 of which were South Africans.

According to a BBC report, the two men lost sisters in the tragedy and have implored the remaining families to unite and institute a lawsuit against Joshua.

Thanduxolo Doro says, “I understand that some families are afraid to take on someone who purports to be God’s messenger and I don’t blame them but I will do this. It is not that the building collapsed, rather what was done after the collapse – we didn’t get any news from the church,” Doro, whose sister, Vathiswa Madikiza died, told the BBC.”

Thanduxolo Doro and Mpho Molebatsi reportedly waited at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo airport for days after the collapse for news about their sisters. Doro also said that Synagogue officials failed to disclose useful information to him, when he contacted them, following the incident.

He said, “When I contacted them they wouldn’t tell me anything. We saw reports that emergency workers were denied access initially, access that could have saved lives. The actions of the church after the incident are very telling.”

Doro published an open letter in South Africa’s Star newspaper, urging other families to join hands in suing T.B. Joshua. He wrote, “I need to do this for her. Even if I stand alone, I am determined to see that something is done. I understand that some families are afraid to take on someone who purports to be God’s messenger and I don’t blame them but I will do this.”

  1. It’s a real good show very intrestine movies culture and touching stories just keep the programme going nice one life house.

  2. i understand they are mourning, But for God sake na him build am?. they should be suing the company that erected the building instead. and all those south african pastors should stop wagging their tongues instead pray fr their fellow man of God. it pains to see Jealousy and celebration of another man’s fall excites other pastors. its a shame, and they call it Christianity.

  3. Good! If he is a man of God, God will see him thru. Am sure God doesn’t disgrace His prophets. So how come this one is facing so much disgrace? 115 pple dead. And he is a prophet? I refuse to be gullible
