The Senator Hope Uzodinma committee, which was elected by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to preside over the mediation to resolve the political confusion in Taraba state, has asked the state’s acting governor, Garba Umar to continue in his current position but should take instructions directly from the ailing governor, Danbaba Suntai.

According to reports, the spokesperson to the acting governor, Kefas Sule said the decisions were reached on Tuesday afternoon after the committee had a meeting with Governor Suntai and his deputy, Garba Umar.

Mr. Uzodinma, addressing the media after the meeting said Taraba state can continue to be ruled by Mr. Umar based on directives he receives from Suntai.

Curious arrangement, don’t you think?

  1. How can a man not fit to rule be fit to give instructions or why would a man that is fit take instructions from another that is unfit.
