19-year-old Ibrahim Ogunkoya has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly stabbing one Toyin Eniolan, 18, to death.
He was said to have stabbed Eniola in his armpit because he had snatched his girlfriend.
The footballer was arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and murder.
The court adjourned the case to October 19 for hearing.
