A 30-year-old man, Onyebuchi Ejinkonye, has been arrested by the police in Imo State for allegedly raping a 4-year-old to death.

The incident reportedly happened at Omuma Oru East Local Government Area of the state.

Ejinkoye, who was paraded at the police force headquarters in Owerri, reportedly raped the girl (names withheld) to death and was in the process of burying her when the police swooped on him.

Other accused persons were also paraded at the force headquarters including armed robbers, kidnap suspects and fraudsters terrorizing the state.

The state police commissioner, Mohammed Katsina, called for the cooperation of Imo citizens by giving the police meaningful information regarding to criminal hide outs and their movement.
