#TFAA2016: 5 things you should know about tonight’s event

The most anticipated event in Africa holds on Sunday in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Future Awards Africa 2016, which recognises the achievement of young Africans, aged 18-32 will feature a whole lot of activities.

Here are five things to know about today’s event:

3. Keynote speech will be delivered by Ghana President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo

The keynote speech which has been delivered in past editions from the likes of Dr. Okonjo-Iweala, former Coordinating Minster of the Economy and former Vice President of the World Bank, Obiageli Ezekwesili, will this year be delivered by President-elect of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.

4. We will be witnessing an unannounced speech/charge by a surprise guest – wait for it

5. Linda Ikeji and Toke Makinwa are presenting an award together

Yes, you heard it here first. Two of Africa’s most influential media celebrities, Linda Ikeji and Toke Makinwa will be presenting an award together at this year’s edition.
