Just a weeks after a police Sergeant, Chris Omeleze was let off the Force after being caught on tape demanding a bribe in Lagos, another officer has been recorded trying to extort money from a motorist for an undisclosed offence.
The female police officer was recorded demanding a N100 bribe from a driver and his conductor and later alighting after receiving it.

These acts of indiscipline replicate itself all over the country and it is high time the Police Force, with the help of citizens, stamp it out.

What a pity. A supposed law enforcer encroaching on the law.
You cannot exactly blame this police officers. They are not properly paid for the kind of job they are doing, aside that, there is no checks and balance. In a country where there are no checks and balance, corruption takes the stead, that is why the national assembly can embark on whatever they like and nobody ask them questions.
Imagine that everyone in the senate are there just for the money, they do not care about creating and emanating laws, their laws is supposed to be what’s guiding the nation…including this police indiscipline, but NO, no checks on them, so anything goes.
These police officers are not to blame, no forgettoing the fact that they answer to a superior in the office who they inturn go back and pay a settlement to, in order for them to be allowed back on the streets, in order to make ends meet.
