While the Associated Press (AP), is reporting that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has postponed the general elections, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu, is urging the commission to “do the right thing.”
He put out a couple of tweets on his Twitter page, saying that 34.5% of registered voters will be disenfranchised if the elections take place at this point in time.
He further appealed to INEC to do the right thing by postponing the polls.
If elections take place with this arrangement, about 34.5% registered voters will be disenfranchised. Means millions won’t vote.
