Pelumi Taiwo, who received two bullets on April 12, 2013, along Ede Road, Osun State has twitted announcing he’s alive.

Some gunmen shot the Chemical Engineering student of Obafemi Awolowo University and the abducted a female companion with him at the time.

According to reports, he sustained injuries but was luckily taken to the hospital on time.

It was gathered that his colleague was also abducted but later released while his car was snatched. Taiwo, who said he was still in the hospital took to twitter using the handle, @phunkmug, he said:

For y’all who hrd a niggar ws shot severally last nyt……., dat was me and im still breathing…………Thank Almighty God.

A commercial bus driver, an eyewitness was called Ugochukwu, said the hit men attacked Taiwo and a female colleague opposite Aderakin Hostel.

“We saw a car parked here, while Taiwo was making phone calls. A female student was also moving towards the car. As she entered the car, two men just appeared.

“They pushed him (Taiwo) down and shot him twice. I heard one of them shouting – ‘Let’s go, he is dead’. They drove off the car with the girl in it.

“We quickly rushed Taiwo to the hospital because we found out that he was an OAU student,” he said.

The abducted student was later released, reports claim.
