A 43-year-old high school clerk in Florida looking for some attention sent dozens of naked photos of herself to two students in the past year, then apologized for it when confronted by their moms, authorities said.

Jody Onorato was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of transmitting harmful material to a minor, authorities said, according to the Star-Banner newspaper.

Formerly an attendence clerk at Vanguard High School in Ocala, police said Onorato also exchanged several “sexual” texts with the juveniles, WKMG Local 6 reported.

The exchanges took place over the past year, authorities said. One student is 17, the other is 19 but was still 18 and considered a minor when the exchanges occurred. Police were alerted to the illicit exchanges in January after the 17-year-old confessed to his mother.

The 17-year-old told police Onorato sent him 26 nude photos, which he kept, and the pair exchanged several racy text messages. The other teen, who is a graduate, said he received several photos but deleted them.

Police recorded several photo calls where the mothers of both teens confronted Onorato about the photos, according to WKMG. In both cases the divorcee apologized and said she only did it to get attention.

Both Onorato and the teens insisted no sexual contact was involved.
