“This picture doesn’t look bad” – Chicago preacher’s daughter defends bath viral photo

by Akan Ido

Javon Trotter, the daughter of popular Chicago preacher, Bishop Larry Trotter, has come out to tell whoever cares to listen that there is nothing inappropriate about the widely circulated picture of her father having a bubble-bath with her daughter.

She said the high-profiled senior pastor of the Sweet Holy Spirit Church, an 8,000-member mega-church had on swimming trunks, and that the little girl was in the water for about three to five minutes, with her (Javon) being present all through the duration.

According to her, “I’m upset, I’m hurt I can’t believe that people would re-post the picture of my innocent baby and say bad things about my father who loves my baby and all kids. He would never do anything to harm them. It’s hurtful for my whole family. I don’t understand this. It doesn’t look bad.

“I don’t know why people would think this way. I know my father and he would never do anything to his kids. I would have not posted the photo online…We never wanted anyone else to see it. My father is hurt as well, we’re his family. He doesn’t want people to be posting his picture all over the world.”

Well, there you have it, no cause for alarm she says.

  1. Of course she would say that, because as her father stated in the interview when he was trying to defend the picture…he stated that he took baths with all of his children…. so to her and her family they probably this is ok and normal, when it is not…makes me wonder bout this family. And as a bishop he should have known better. And just what did she think people were gonnan think…the same thing she did??? please gimme a break this pic is not good @ all…..
