Nigeria is such a strange place. Matters that are black and white elsewhere take on a coat of many colours in Nigeria.
For instance, it is quite clear, more so with the evidence presented, that a sleeping person cannot consent to sex. In Nigeria, it isn’t. So tweets like these sampled below abound.
Video Evidence
Peep the guilty look Kemen gave the camera 1st before touching Tboss. This is what got him disqualified just incase you missed it. #BBNaija pic.twitter.com/HQ5l0SzGfj

Dumb
I am still looking for what it is he did that Tboss was not aware of. It didn't look like she struggled with him https://t.co/zO8c0zyXqj

I didn't see anything that looked like sexual harassment in that video https://t.co/BVfxzRxRVT

Look I believe if it were to be someone else like Jon who did exactly what kemen did, most will be cool with it but cuz he ugly.. ? #BBNaija
— TEDDY ? (@cutegeek20) March 5, 2017
She complains bout bally and Jon not using the toilet properly but says nothing to kemen for touching her. Its clear enough #BBNaija

If sexual harassment has to be aggressive before you see the violation of a person, their body and their dignity, that is unfortunate. https://t.co/amZGSMuRUE

Was she violated? Yes!
Did she give consent? No!
Anything else that happened after that is out of unwarranted persistence.#BBNaija— Akin Akíntáyọ̀ #FBPE (@forakin) March 5, 2017
So much of our cultural schooling leads us to default into masochistic victimhood that we don't know when we have been abused. #BBNaija

Dumber
You slept on the same bed with a guy that isn't your brother and you expect him to sleep without touching you? Smh.

I will train my daughter not to show a man her breast or any private part, and be in his bed if she'll not want to have sex him. #BBNaija

You are implying that men can't control themselves, and that society/women shouldn't expect them to. This is untrue and barbaric. https://t.co/BlykBuu3oR

Beginning to seem like this hypothesis about #MenInSuit on DPs has small sense. https://t.co/3q76xvSwDq

Train your son not to touch anyone without consent, no matter how many breasts or "private part" he sees. Train him not to be an animal. https://t.co/oaTpZzTcjd

Dumbest
If you know you don't want a sexual relationship with a man, Stay in your house
If the man is a perv, you were not forced to sleep over?
— Mo? (@Sandymonajj) March 6, 2017
If the man's head doesn't want to be correct, you should be able to give yourself sense
— Mo? (@Sandymonajj) March 6, 2017
Yes, sleeping at a man's house doesn't give him a right to touch you or have sex
But it's his house, why are you there? He's at an advantage
— Mo? (@Sandymonajj) March 6, 2017
Give yourself the advantage, not him
— Mo? (@Sandymonajj) March 6, 2017
Now, a situation whereby you had no choice but to be in his house is different..
Then you're 100% without fault?

Substitute working for ‘sleeping’, office for ‘house.’ Victim blaming is most insidious tool of oppression.
