Let’s face it. Nigeria has too many issues.
Onye Nkuzi (@cchukudebelu) has picked apart one of them.
Do see below:
We should really ask ourselves whether Nigeria has a future? If not, can we give it one? https://t.co/y4PgQHohHq

Those who matriculated in 1971, lived like kings and queens. Ate half a chicken on Sunday with ice cream. Had all the books and great labs.

Those who matriculated in 1981, had it a bit rough. Slept two a room. No chicken, but could afford some books and the labs weren't too bad.

Those who matriculated in 1991, slept 4 a room. Could barely afford a textbook and resorted to cooking beans and doing "0-1-0". No real labs

Those who matriculated in 2001 slept 8-10 a room. Let's pretend they had "laboratories". Let's not talk about nutrition/living standards.

It is impossible to talk about those who matriculated in 2011 without being depressed.

So what's the point of all this? A nation, Nigeria, made a conscious decision, over several decades, to be mediocre.
— Onye Nkuzi (@cchukudebelu) March 14, 2017
And the men who presided over five decades of mediocrity are still in charge today, thus assuring us of a mediocre future.

*Sigh*
