A 45-year-old woman was fighting for her life after her husband stabbed her in the neck inside their Brooklyn home early Saturday, cops said.
The woman was knifed twice near her throat during an argument with her husband, Rafael Serda, 48, inside their East New York home around 1:30 a.m., police said.
The wounded woman was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Investigators expect her to survive.
Cops found Serda about a block away from the scene a short time later. Sources said he had traces of blood splattered on his clothes.
A knife was also recovered nearby, sources said.
Serda was cuffed and hauled over to the 75th Precinct, where he was later charged with first-degree assault.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the bloodshed, or if the couple had any history of violence.
