The latest Kim Kardashian news drama includes her ex-husband, Kris Humphries, who allegedly gave a woman the Herpes STD. The NBA player denies the rumors and says he intends to file a counter lawsuit against his former fling, claiming he is free and clear from VD.

Wednesday RadarOnline published an exclusive story about the ongoing court battle with Kris and Kayla Goldberg.

When Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries split, the basketball star hooked up with Goldberg at The Newsroom Cafe in Los Angeles in August of 2010.

Allegedly, one thing led to another and Kris found himself romping in bed with Kayla. According to Goldberg, they had unprotected sex at the time and several times in their short run.

Days later, Kris’ gal pal began having symptoms that were consistent with an STD. After a trip to the doctor confirmed the presence of Herpes, the woman slapped Kris Humphries with a lawsuit.

According to court documents, Goldberg’s lawyers allege that “Defendant Humphries did not at any time inform Plaintiff that he was infected with the incurable venereal disease, Herpes Simplex Virus.”

Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband found himself in the midst of fighting a divorce and allegations that he knowingly spread VD to a girlfriend or bedroom buddy. Obviously, the STD news was not good news for the NBA star.

Kim and Kris have been apart for months after their 72-day marriage ended in divorce. After the split, all hell broke loose as accusations began to fly from Humphries that Kim staged the marriage and used him to further her career. Had the reality TV star married Kobe or Lebron James instead, the story may be a bit more convincing.

Kris’ lawyers claim their client tested negative several times for VD since the alleged sexual encounters and the records will show that he is not behind the spread of Herpes to Kayla Goldberg. It’s anyone’s guess how this case will turn out.

While the news of Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband is shocking, it goes along with the territory of being a celebrity while riding in the fast lane.
