TICKER: Not true: Monica Lewinsky not planning book on Clinton affair, say sources

Despite reports that Monica Lewinsky plans to publish a book that will include love letters to President Bill Clinton and potentially scandalous details about their relationship, sources close to the 39-year-old former White House intern say this is not true.

“Several publishers would love her to tell all, but she has no intention of doing so,” a friend of Lewinsky’s tells me. “She has been through enough already and all this happened 14 years ago. She has put it behind her and moved on with her life.”

In 1999, 70 million Americans, setting a new record for a news show, watched Barbara Walters interview with Monica. She also cooperated with Andrew Morton on his book “Monica’s Story,” telling her side of the story of her affair with Clinton. It was reported that she made more than $1 million from her participation.

“She has nothing new to add to this painful chapter in her life,” says another friend of Lewinsky. “It’s time we all moved on.”
