TICKER: Sexual assault allegation: Cee Lo Green reportedly recorded apologising to his accuser

There may be a recording that Cee Lo Green wishes his voice was not on.

The woman accusing Green of sexual battery secretly taped a conversation with the “Forget You” singer in which he allegedly admits slipping her a drug – possibly Ecstasy – and having sex with her, sources told TMZ.com.
The accuser claims the 38-year-old “The Voice” judge, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, brought her to a downtown L.A. restaurant in July, where they had a drink.
According to the police report, she alleges that she remembers nothing after that until waking up later lying completely naked in a bed with Green.
LAPD police have questioned staffers at the restaurant over the event of that night. Detectives also had the woman tape a “pretext” call in which she tried to get Green admit to a crime, after she filed the police report.
On that call, sources told the gossip site that Green repeatedly apologized and mentioned MDMA, another name for the drug Ecstasy, saying he thought the drug would improve their evening – though not referencing slipping anything into a drink.
Sources in Green’s camp, however, are singing a different tune. A lawyer for the R&B star says the woman only went to police after hiring a civil lawyer and getting shot down in her request for money.
“Nothing ever happened there or anywhere else,” Green told TMZ on Wednesday.
