She’s not a blue blooded royalty
nor is she a beauty queen, far from it.
She’s not from the house of Midas;
definitely not of a founder’s loin.

But unique, rare and intelligent? Yes!
And deep within my heart, she rules.
She holds a priceless, trust; Love.
I love her like no other, like life

I care not if she knows or returns it,
I just want to love her, safe, within.
A love that’s pure, sublime and full.
A love that’s mine to give, true to heart.

Stainless, crystal clear, flawless;
hidden from view, even from her.
A love that glows, illuminates, lights.
By which I feed, whole, complete, I’m fulfilled.

Expectation being the mother of frustration,
I expect nothing back in return.
That way, happiness to love her is unhindered.
The peace and tranquility of loving her;

is mine forever…
