According to Jide Adeniji, the Chairman of Federal Road Maintenance Agency, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, is not mentally fit to lead the country.

Adeniji, who is also the Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential Campaign Team in the South West, made the statement at a press conference in Osogbo on Tuesday, January 27.

He stated that President Goodluck Jonathan has done so much for the country, including the establishment of federal universities, while adding that all Buhari did was stage a coup to unseat a democratically elected government of former President Shehu Shagari in 1983.

Former Nigeria and Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare, has reportedly died of cancer.

Agbonovbare, who was 48-years-old, died on Tuesday morning in a Madrid, Spain hospital.

The information on his death was communicated on the website of his former club.

In what seems like an unusual twist, the Twitter account of presidential aspirant’s daughter Zahra Buhari has been deleted.

Zahra who garnered social media fame since she was introduced on Linda Ikeji’s blog, used it to her advantage aiding her father’s campaign by debunking untrue messages and news and posting positive ones in replacement.

At a point, it seemed like the messages were overwhelming the northern beauty and she pleaded for it to stop.

Director, Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, PCO, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode said Tuesday, that he never doctored any document from Cambridge University on the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, retd.

He described as false as he never commented on the document that would warrant allegation that he manipulated a document from Cambridge University to justify his claim that Buhari’s West African School Certificate’s statement of result was forged.

In a statement, Monday, by Special Assistant to Fani-Kayode, Sufuyan Ojeifo, said that the allegation of manipulation against Chief Fani-Kayode, was indicative of desperation by the opposition.

The Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere has endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan’s bid for a second term in office.

It gave its endorsement at a meeting of its members with the President at the residence of Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasanranti in Akure on Tuesday.

Jonathan told reporters as he left the meeting place that he had come to pay homage to the leader of Afenifere.

Spokesman for the group, Yinka Odumakin, told reporters after the meeting that the endorsement was predicated on the President’s commitment to implementing the recommendations of report of the National Conference 2014.
