Today’s Noisemakers: Crazy ATM queues, that Christmas jingle, Don Jazzy and others

1. Crazy ATM queues around the nation

It’s the season to be jolly, to travel, to buy gifts, etc, etc so having cash in hand is very essential. Cue crazy ATM cues: they are long and some banks have put a cap on withdrawal amounts.

2. Joseph Muscat

The Prime Minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat, alerted us to a hijack situation today. A Libyan plane was hijacked, but thank God all the passengers were released and the hijackers arrested. See here

3. Nigerian Law enforcement Christmas jingle

The police, Prisons, FRSC and other law enforcement agencies came together to wish Nigerians a very merry Christmas. In it, you are reminded that the police is your friend. Hilarious!

4. #UnilorinEnoughIsEnough

Unilorin students are tweeting about their pain: a department that has lost accreditation, PC tabs paid for that have not been received etc. See here.

5. El Rufai

The Kaduna state Governor’s handling of the Southern Kaduna crisis leaves a lot to be desired. With approval from the FG, El Rufai has now imposed a curfew on Southern Kaduna throughout Christmas.

6. Don Jazzy

Forget Santa- he is a figment of the imagination anyways- Don Jazzy is the real MVP. Without much ado, he dashed a guy on his TL 250,000 naira. In this recession, this Buhari economy.

Fada lord, send some Don Jazzys my way.

7. That Wizkid curve. Unintentional?

See you.
