Every day, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are even just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 Eric Okafor
Apostle Suleman gave his members of his church some severe talking to and Eric could not believe the words that tumbled out of his mouth.
Watch:
Apostle Suleman threatens to dismiss members of his church who don't believe in him, calls them demons. Is this a church or a cult? pic.twitter.com/95tc7kknkT

2. Bunmi
Yesterday, information circulating in the Nigerian media space was that some soft drinks- coca Cola, Fanta and Sprite had high concentrations of benzoic acid above the internationally prescribed limit. The court actually handed down a warning to NAFDAC. NBC has come forward to say not so.
This is what Twitter Ng thinks:

Dear @NafdacAgency, would you be kind enough to explain how you determined levels benzoic acid and sunset yellow safe for our consumption?
— Amara Nwankpa (@Nwankpa_A) March 16, 2017
3. Manasseh Egedegbe
You remember how Tolu Ogunlesi blasted middle-class Nigerians for their preoccupation with seedless grapes, foreign vacations and shopping with Mastercard, well with Coca-Cola and co being concentrated with these insane levels of benzoic acid, Manasseh reckons it’s time to patronise foreign again.
Wait. Given that drinks "unsafe for human consumption" in the U.K. is fit for Nigerian consumption, shouldn't we start importing 'minerals'?
— Bill Gates’ Maiguard (@knightofdelta) March 16, 2017
Next time I see anyone complain that "Nigerians have taste for only imported goods" ehn… *goes in search of seedless grapes*

4. Feyi Fawehinmi
Yesterday, the Senate rejected Buhari’s pick for EFCC Chairman- Ibrahim Magu. Now many reckon it’s got more to do with members of the House who are in Magu’s crosshairs for corruption than the DSS report which showed he failed the ‘integrity test’.
Nigeria thinks Buhari’s house (think APC controlled legislature) is divided against itself and so will not stand. Economist and writer, Feyi thinks this below:
Apart from Nigerians and Nigerian politicians, Nigeria really is a wonderful country blessed with infinite possibilities
— tyro (@DoubleEph) March 16, 2017
Very easily, Buhari will go 4 years in office without getting one major reform bill through the NASS. Easily. He'll do N5k fertiliser though
— tyro (@DoubleEph) March 16, 2017
5. @Afrispheric
After attending to his health in London for 50 days, President Buhari returned home, looking emaciated. He stated unequivocally that he’d never been this sick in his entire life. This happened at a time when Osinbajo, who was acting in his stead as AG was being hailed for all the good work he was undertaking all over the country.
Afrispheric speculates that there’s more to Buhari’s return than meets the eye. Do see below:
I was a tad optimistic when I opined that politicking for 2019 would start fully in 2019
I was wrong
The politicking has started fully now
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
Buhari's return to NGR has nothing to do with governance
It has everything to do with 2019 election politicking
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
Buhari & his handlers have figured out that the longer he stays in London, the more tenuous his hold on power, physically & mentally
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
For the past 2yrs, Buhari has done zero governance
It will get worse now, with fighting for 2019 in full gear
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
We will witness an extended Night of the Long knives type scenario as Buhari & his handlers go on a purging & intimidation spree
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
The losers in this fight?
Ordinary Nigerians that will bear the brunt of a listless economy as the battle rages
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
The battle will be very brutal, more so bcos Buhari & his cable now only have their core Northern base to count on
They will be desperate..
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 16, 2017
@DemolaRewaju was 100% correct when he said Buhari's status has reverted to pre APC status
No power base outside the core north

Got a case last week. Hubby beat up his wife. She needed 9 stitches in her HEAD, amongst other injuries. Their marriage was ONE MONTH old!

My childhood friend when we were in Uni had a bf turned fiancee. They were both in love or so it seemed. He bought her a nice sports car.

El Rufai has begun throwing darts at the cabal in power ahead of 2019. Strategic or foolish?
