Every day, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are even just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 . Kemen
The disgraced #BBNaija housemate tried his first PR stunt after leaving the Big Brother house. We suppose he skimmed our rule book.

Verdict: Meh. Falls flat. Leaves too many questions. E.g; your action was not a ‘sexual violation’? We only ‘perceived’ it as such? You ‘overplayed the game’ into TBoss’s pants? Is the ‘reality’ that it never happened? The video was all Big brother’s concoction?
‘The God of a second chance,’ though. That part’s gold. Hilarious as hell.
However, Twitter has rejected this ‘apology’, and so have we.
#NotAnApology
2. TBoss
A counsellor paid a visit to the Big Brother house to talk about consent and this gave TBoss the opportunity to speak her truth concerning what happened.
Do see below:
#BBNaija The Counsellor said Even if the lady or the guy is flirtatious- THAT GIVES YOU NO RIGHT; IT DOES Not MEAN CONSENT

As for those saying TBoss needs to move past it, don’t be unfortunate.
Educate yourself:
I have seen so many 'Tboss needs to move past it'. Let me tell you, you can never move past Sexual abuse, it's stuck at the back of ur mind

Tboss says she's still angry at the housemates for judging her.
Now they'll continue to walk on eggshells around her.— a whole spice rack (@TifeBollz) March 8, 2017
She is definitely entitled to that anger, and they have to suck it up. https://t.co/XNOvjyZvft

Serves them right
3. Clara Amfo
Today is International Women’s Day. On a day like this, there’s a lot to say. Clara sets the tone.
i. Liberty

iii. Gender inequality
A woman will suffer to push out your big head from her body then you fix your mouth to day women are inferior? Unfortunate

iv. Our future

v. Protectors of the realm
Today we are celebrating women in The Met who have been protecting #London since 1919 #InternationalWomensDay pic.twitter.com/YcfnYhirVi

Finally,
#InternationalWomensDay? Why does it have to be a day? For equality, we believe it should be #InternationalWomensEVERYday! pic.twitter.com/uo1uOMzCkW

You can do it, ma.
4. @Dikachim
It’s a good day to discuss why a man would want his wife to pound yam for him at 10 pm. @Dikachim attacks this entitlement mentality.
I don't know why you'd want to eat pounded yam at 10pm, worse still have some other human go through the stress
— Nwakibeya (@Dikachim) March 8, 2017
and the other human is your wife that you should ordinarily want to make her life as easy and comfortable as possible
— Nwakibeya (@Dikachim) March 8, 2017

— Nwakibeya (@Dikachim) March 8, 2017
if your wife woke you up to pound yam at 10pm, would you happily pound it? Is your wife any less human? what's so special about pounded yam?
— Nwakibeya (@Dikachim) March 8, 2017
Good question.
5. Kemi Adetiba
This is why woman is everything!
6. Mark Essien
In other news, Mark Essien leaves tips on how to tackle work when it gets too much.
Do see below:
As people advance in their career, they start getting more and more to do. At once point, the have *too much* to do. This is break point.
— Mark Essien (@markessien) March 8, 2017
Some people don't change at that point, but continue working as always. They start dropping the ball and getting constantly worse at job.
— Mark Essien (@markessien) March 8, 2017
Others 'make the curve' and realize that to be successful they need to make changes around 1) Delegation 2) Prioritization 3) Communication
— Mark Essien (@markessien) March 8, 2017
Prioritization: You will not be able to do everything. You can't work linearly anymore. You must focus on what's most important.
— Mark Essien (@markessien) March 8, 2017
Communication: Because you need to push things back, or push to others, you must communicate appropriately to all stakeholders all the time
— Mark Essien (@markessien) March 8, 2017
7. @FireOFola
Why do we do this in this country?
Kai… This my job has exposed me to a lot of accents.. Enquirer be starting with British accent and ending with ibile tinz.. ????
— Olashile Abayomi (@FireOFola) March 8, 2017
What will a woman not hear?
Goodnight and happy International Women’s Day.
