One of the activities of Ekiti governor Ayodele Fayose, on Thursday, was to drive a tipper truck around streets of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
Fayose also revealed that he was once a truck driver before becoming the state’s governor while he also urged Ekiti people to be proud of whatever profession they get into.
“We must be proud of our profession. I sell trucks, I did haulage, I can drive this truck to Lagos. I did this before I became governor.”
The governor also stated that diligent people are bound to rise to greater heights irrespective of their academic background and social status.
