Lord I know that you are the one that made me
That’s why I run to you, when I get sick of me.
You know my heart and every single one of my desires
But Lord, right now my mind is on that guy’s form and how nice it fits his attire.

I am buzzing with so much affection
And I am scared that if I don’t act right, the wrong person will get all this attention.
I want to give it all to you

But I struggle on the practicalities
Because, to be blunt, you are the God that I cannot see.

But, wait. Who is this pinging and now ringing me?
That nonsense guy, that I warned never to use my number
Because all he wants to do is to ‘jam’ and supposedly get to know me better.
Jam? What does that even mean? I am not bread or butter

So I really think you do have the wrong number.

Not a link or something, with someone I don’t know ‘too tough’
Songs of Solomon talks about sweet love and sweet kisses
And I want to be so in love with You, That ‘your name is like pleasant fragrances’

So in love, that my girls are asking me,
“who is that, that has got you sprung?”
That when he calls you, you start speaking in tongues?
And I answer: “girls, my lover, strength and fortress”
He’s everything to me and He takes good care of me

I know have I found the One,
Because He knows my every thought, before it is uttered.
He does things for me that I could not have asked for
And yes, it is more than I could ever have bargained for!
And girls, there is plenty for you and me
All you have to do is be open, repent and let Him in.
