Although Daniel is based in the South South – Port Harcourt, to be precise – he has headlined some of the biggest comedy events in Lagos and Abuja. Not one to rest on his oars, he recently hosted his own comedy show at the Presidential Hotel in Port Harcourt. The unique comedian, who has a huge followership is our YNaija Twitter Personality for today. He speaks to us about his experience
on the site so far.

How did you get on Twitter?
I can’t really remember how I got on Twitter right now, I stumbled into it and saw it as another good social networking site to mingle.

Who would you say is your favourite tweep?
I have a whole lot of favourite tweeps. There some people whose tweets I look forward to, like @donjazzymohits, @vivisleek, @deedutch, @Ebuka, etc.

Is there any particular tweet you’ll never forget? Tell us about it.
I have a number of favourite tweets, but I would never forget the tweet I got from Fred Hammond some time last year.

Have you had any embarrassing/memorable experience on Twitter? If yes, what happened?
Embarrassing moment comes up whenever semantic errors are made. That’s what other tweeps call ‘Gbagaun’.

What are the downsides of being on twitter?
The only downside being on Twitter is that you now share your life with a whole bunch of people, thus, giving you limited privacy.

What are the upsides?
The upsides include opportunity to network, meet people, get yourself more exposed to your audience and of because it’s another avenue to market my brand.

Do you follow back readily? Why?
Yeah, I follow back readily and reason is simple: I was asked to do so. But I don’t ask for follow back though. Except I want to send a DM.

What would possibly make you close your Twitter account?
I doubt if I’ll have any reason to close my account.
