UNILAG graduates 47 Ph.Ds and 91 first class graduates

Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Rahamon Bello, on Thursday proudly announced that the university had graduated 47 Doctor of Philosophy, PhD, and 3,182 Master’s degree holders.

At a special convocation for post-graduate students marking the institution’s Golden Jubilee, Bello said 3,268 students were awarded with post-graduate diplomas and a Master of Philosophy for one other student.

According to reports, Bello gave a breakdown of graduates according to their discipline stating that College of Medicine produced 253 graduated, 467 graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Law produced 194 and the Faculty of Pharmacy had 98.

2,353 students were awarded diplomas and first degrees in the various disciplines on Wednesday, News Agency of Nigeria reported.

In total, 91 students graduated in First Class.
