How UNILORIN lecturer sexually harassed female student (LISTEN)

A lecturer at the University of Ilorin has been relieved of his duties as the head of Department of English over allegations of sexual harassment.

Dr Mohammed Idiagbon’s advances towards a female student became public knowledge when an audio tape secretly recorded by the undergraduate got leaked to the press.

The lecturer had invited the student to his office to seduce her into being his lover not knowing she was recording every conversation they had.

According to SaharaReporters, the female student, simply identified as Faith, had gone to Idiagbon’s office to plead on a test she missed.

In the audio clip, Faith could be heard telling the lecturer “I don’t like it” after Idiagbon allegedly touched her and told her to give him something to suck.

He, thereafter, sent her out of the office after she expressed her unwillingness, telling her “you are not the only one”.

After the news broke that he sexually harassed a student, a panel was set up to deliberate on the matter and he was relieved of his duties in order not to interfere with the investigations.

The lecturer resigned his appointment thereafter.
