Ejiru Laale, son of the recently appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Ndowa Laale- has been abducted by unknown gunmen.
The kidnap of Ejiru was disclosed to the media on Tuesday morning by the spokesperson of Uniport, William Wordi.
According to Wordi, the Vice Chancellor’s son was abducted around 7pm on Monday at his family home at Ebubu, Eleme in Rivers State
He was reportedly supervising his fish pond when 6 armed men kidnapped him, after robbing a neighbour within the compound.
