On Thursday, July 21 2016, the Bolanle Austen-Peters-produced Wakaa The Musical made history as it became the first Nigerian musical to grace a London theatre stage.

The play which sold out the Shaw Theatre in Somers Town, Camden received nothing but a standing ovation from the audience.

Wakaa The Musical is a play which reveals the struggles and challenges young people face in present day Nigeria and abroad.
