The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello on Friday was pelted with fruits and rotten vegetables while stepping out of a mosque after the juma’at prayer in Lokoja.

The governor had reacted to the incident saying they were thugs who had been contracted by persons he claimed are not happy with the development in the state.

A video of youths stoning the governor has however, emerged.
