Following claims by the Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima that the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group have never been to Chibok, Co-convener of the group, Bukky Shonibare has refuted the claims.
Shettima had said the group has been protesting in the comfort of the Federal Capital Territory but have never been to Chibok where the girls were kidnapped.
But in a series of tweets on Friday, Shonibare said the group was in Chibok for eight days but decided against making it public.
She also released photos while stating that the group also birthed Adopt-A-Camp, an initiative interested in the welfare of IDPs.
