#WhitePeopleProblems: Wedding dress ‘full of shattered hopes’ sells for N30million

On today’s #WhitePeopleProblems, we have a case of love gone sour but as usual there is a bit of creepiness involved.

A betrayed woman in England has put up her £2,000 wedding dress for sale on eBay in a bid to pay for her divorce after she discovered her husband was allegedly cheating.

The happy Samantha Wragg at her wedding

28-year old Samantha Wragg made this known on her eBay listing, writing, “Mainly selling as I need to pay for my divorce which my ex-husband has left me to foot the bill for!”

Her description of the Art Deco size 6 wedding dress which includes the veil is however baffling as it reads, “If you want a dress that is full of bad memories and shattered hopes and dreams then this is the one for you.”

Guess what? The dress has already garnered 395 bids with the highest at £65,900.00. Really? Who the heck buys a dress “full of bad memories and shattered hopes and dreams at such an exorbitant amount.”

Thumbs up to Wragg for the weird but effective marketing strategy because now she should have more than enough to battle her ex-husband in court.
