All the governorship primaries for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held across Nigeria yesterday, Monday, December 8, 2014. Asides from Ogun State which was stopped by the National Working Committee, the rest reached some sort of resolution. The losing candidate in Lagos has indicated that he will contest the results, but that aside, the results are confirmed. There were incidents in Lagos and Katsina, but the rest of the country went well.
There will be no governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi, Edo, Osun, Ondo, Sokoto and Anambra states as they are out of sync with the rest of the country.
