The former militant was summoned to the headquarters of the DSS at the Yellow House, Abuja earlier today.
It is believed that Mr. Dokubo was arrested due to a number of statements attributed to him in which he threatened to unleash violence on the nation if President Goodluck Jonathan is not elected for a second term in office.
Dokubo, who was recently arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic, told Channels TV that there would be bloodshed if Jonathan wasn’t re-elected.

He said:
“If they say the blood of the dogs and the baboon will be soaked in water on the street, in blood on the street, in salt water on the street, we will help them soak them in blood”.
It was this latest statement that prompted calls for his arrest by concerned citizens who felt his inciting declarations should not be left unchecked.
Two weeks ago, the DSS also arrested former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nasir el-Rufai for making questionable comments about the same elections.
