“We will sack PDP in Abia!” | “You are not a Messiah!” || Governors Okorocha and Orji throw verbal punches [DETAILS]

by Kolapo Olapoju

Abia State governor, Theodore Orji, has emphatically declared that major opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC) cannot win a single polling booth in his state in the 2015 general election.

Orji was responding to a recent statement by Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who said APC would take over Abia in the coming elections.

Speaking through his spokesman, Charles Ajunwa, Orji claimed that Imo people are still regretting their mistake of 2011, when Okorocha was voted into power under false claim as a political Messiah which, he has proved not to be.

He said Okorocha’s policies and programmes have rather taken Imo State backwards, despite parading himself as a progressive leader.

He also added that his PDP-led administration in Abia had posted some undeniable legacy projects across the state, which the likes of Okorocha will never be able to achieve.

He concluded advising the Imo governor to stop claiming to be a messiah of Imo people, but rather, fight for his political survival, especially at the next general elections.

Okorocha who spoke through his deputy, Eze Madumere, while addressing a stakeholders’ meeting of the South East chapter of APC in Umuahia, saying APC would sack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the seat of power in the state in 2015.
