While wishing Buhari ‘good luck’, Moro announces Friday as Public Holiday

To celebrate the 2015 Democracy Day, the Federal Government has declared Friday May 29, 2015 as Public Holiday.

The information was disseminated on Monday, May 25, by the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, in a statement signed by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Magaji, in Abuja.

Moro urged Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to support the incoming government and also pray for the success of Nigeria’s democratic process.

The Minister also congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan and Nigerians for the successful conduct of the 2015 general elections.

President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari’s prospective administration was also wished good luck.
