South Carolina woman was so upset at her son for getting suspended that she walked into his school and slapped the wrong boy. The woman allegedly walked into the middle school and slapped a boy who was waiting to be sent home instead of her own son, who had just gotten suspended.
After the mother realized she’d slapped the wrong boy, she apologized to the boy, then walked over to her own son and slapped him.
Collier now faces one charge of disturbing the school and two counts of assault and battery, one for each child.
It is understandable that Collier would be disciplined for laying hands on a child that is not her own, but should she face charges for hitting her own son? Do you think parents who physically discipline their kids in public should be treated as criminals by law enforcement? Or is that taking it too far?
