WTH: Man castrates disabled friend while trying to settle a dispute (PICTURED)

A 41-year-old man was arrested after castrating a paraplegic man during an argument over a woman.

Edgar Bonilla was visiting a woman at an assisted living home for people with disabilities in Philadelphia when he got into an argument with another one of the residents.

Bonilla then stabbed the 43-year-old male resident multiple times and cutting off his genitals.

The victim, who has not been named, is said to be in a coma in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The exact relationship between the 39-year-old woman, who is also a paraplegic living at the assisted living facility, but they are said to be friends.

Some accounts say that the victim and Bonilla’s friend had some sort of dispute with the victim and Bonilla was trying to settle the dispute.

Police say that all three involved were said to be friends before the Monday night attack.

 ‘His testicles had been cut off by the offender,’ Lt. John Walker said outside of the facility, called the Inglis Apartments at Elmwood.

‘We later received information that the offender was inside the building here in a separate apartment. We were able to apprehend him inside the building and recovered the knife that was used in the incident.’

Bonilla is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and robbery after he stole the victim’s medicine. He is being held on $5million bail.

This is not his first arrest, as he plead guilty to a trespassing charge in 2004.
