Year 3! Africa’s largest gathering of real estate professionals returns with REAL ESTATE UNITE 2014 | Registration now open

by David Cyril

Set to be staged from 2 – 3 October 2014, at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos, REAL ESTATE UNITE—the International Business-to-Business event that convenes all aspects of Nigeria’s real estate industry—will once again gather stakeholders to address this year’s theme “Igniting the F.I.R.E, Where Lies The Key?”.

Organised by 3INVEST LTD—the continent’s largest online platform and information platform for the real estate sector—the event utilises its carefully designed three tiers of a Conference, an Awards ceremony and an Exhibition to explore the untapped potential of the real estate sector in Africa’s largest economy.

The Awards recognise excellence in twelve categories spanning the industry; the Exhibition serves to showcase the variety of products and services that abound within the real estate and property development sector; and the Conference offers a platform to explore practical solutions and initiatives put forward by carefully profiled speakers from across the continent and global real estate.

This year’s impressive line up of conference keynote speakers include the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola; Akon Eyakenyi, Honourable Minister of Housing & Urban Planning for Nigeria; Andrew Alli, CEO Africa Finance Corporation; Simon Walley, Senior Housing Finance Specialist of the World Bank; and Hakeem Ogunniran, Managing Director, UPDC.

With almost 60 exhibitors in targeted service categories and an expected attendance in the thousands, REUNITE 2014 promises to be an electrifying event that will further catalyse the growth of the sector to surpass its current standing at 7% of national GDP. This is why, the theme
aggressively explores which of the four identified factors of F.I.R.E (Finance, Infrastructure/Industrial Investing, Red-Tapism & Education) will be the key to leap frog the sector to achieve its potential. These will culminate in a debate tagged “Fuelling the F.I.R.E” to further flesh out the roles that these factors have to play.

Registration has officially opened for the limited spaces available for delegates and exhibitors; and the public nominations process for the awards will be commencing shortly.
