Yemi Alade to donate proceeds from ‘Mama Africa’ album to charity

After months of immense anticipation, Effyzie first lady –Yemi Alade has released her sophomore album –Mama Africa: The Diary of an African Woman.

Artistes such as P-Square, Rotimi Keys, Sauti Sol, Flavour, Sarkodie, DJ Arafa made guest appearances on the album.

The producers who worked on the LP include GospelOnDeBeatz, DJ Coublon, Selebobo, Philkeyz, BeatsByEmzo, Masterkraft, Rotimi Keys and Mr. Chidoo.

Yemi Alade has also revealed that a percentage of the album sales would go to charity, through the #FeedAChild project.

The initiative will see the singer personally visit and donate album sales proceeds to orphanages across Africa.

Mama Africa: The Diary of an African Woman is a follow-up to her 2014 debut album –King Of Queens.

The body of work which is already the most pre-ordered African album on ITunes, is now available digitally and in physical copies globally.
