Reno Omokri, a former Special Adviser on New Media to immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan, says his former boss did more in 100 days than President Muhammadu Buhari has achieved in 1 year.
In a Twitter interview with YNaija on Thursday, Reno also revealed that there was a lot of “infighting and turf wars” in the media team of the former President.
“Some pettiness. Though we recorded some success we could have done more”, he said while noting that he should have cooperated more with Reuben Abati, veteran journalist and the spokesperson of the former President.
Omokri also spoke on the rift between Jonathan and former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.
The pair had a falling out in the latter years of Jonathan’s administration.
According to Omokri, “God used Obasanjo to raise Jonathan and it was a mistake to let that relationship suffer.”
“Spiritually, it is wrong to alienate the river God uses to feed your stream. Obasanjo was Jonathan’s Achilles heel. He may be a sometime difficult person but he is God’s anointed”, he added.

Do you need to ask? GEJ achieved more in his first 100 days than PMB has achieved in his first year #YNaijaTwitterInterview
— Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) June 2, 2016
In GEJ's 1st 100 days work had begun on 9 new universities. What tangible project has PMB done in a year? #YNaijaTwitterInterview

in his first 100 days GEJ reduced inflation from 10.2% to 9.4%, but inflation has exploded under PMB #YNaijaTwitterInterview

Yes, they're right. We had our failures. I share in that blame. We did our best but it wasn't good enough #YNaijaTwitterInterview

I should have cooperated more. @abati1990 and I worked well but our unity threatened others. I can't say all #YNaijaTwitterInterview

Also, we did not realize early enough the puppeteering of certain influencers by opposition elements #YNaijaTwitterInterview

However, I would say that @GarShehu is a specimen of a gentleman and the star in the President's media team #YNaijaTwitterInterview

GEJ is a minority. No matter what we say in public, Nigerians still look at tribe before performance #YNaijaTwitterInterview
— Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) June 2, 2016
In terms of performance no matches GEJ. Even the major advertised achievement of PMB (TSA) is a GEJ product #YNaijaTwitterInterview

GEJ himself, almost prophetically said Nigerians will appreciate him only after he leaves office #YNaijaTwitterInterview

God used Obj to raise GEJ. No matter what Obj did later on, it was a mistake to let that relationship suffer #YNaijaTwitterInterview

My words on that are clear and unambiguous. Obj may be a sometime difficult person but he is God's anointed #YNaijaTwitterInterview
