Karl Lagerfeld isn’t a fan of the fringe.

The fashion mastermind dissed Michelle Obama’s new bangs in a recent interview with French talk show, “Le Petit Journal.”

“I don’t understand the new hair,” Lagerfeld said. “Frankly, the fringe was a bad idea. It’s not good.”

He said the new ‘do makes the First Lady look like a “speakerine” — a news anchor.

Michelle, whose style is widely lauded among the fashion crowd, debuted the trendy cut two weeks ago on her 49th birthday.

She’s hardly the first to take fashion criticism from the Chanel designer, whose targets have included Adele and Pippa Middleton.

Lagerfeld might hate the hair, but he still thinks Michelle is beautiful.

In February, he told Metro Michelle’s face “is magical” and said he adores the fashion-savvy First Lady.
