In spite of Nigeria’s economic growth, only 4% of Nigerians are covered by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), but that is about to change pretty soon and hopefully, in record time.

A new initiative which is a partnership between mobile financial service aggregator, ‘Salt & Einstein MTS’ and NHIS will now enable all Nigerians to have access to health services via their mobile phones.

Through this mobile health insurance scheme, every Nigerian can make health insurance payment through airtime from their mobile phones.
