The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige on Thursday, February 18, reportedly ‘slumped to the floor’ during the defence of his ministry’s budget.

According to reports from multiple platforms, the minister was immediately rushed out of the National Assembly chambers for medical attention.

Before the incident occurred, Ngige was said to have been addressing the House of Representatives’ Committee on Labour.
