Filmmaker and host of the viral talk show #WithChude, Chude Jideonwo has announced his annual list of the 150 most interesting people in the culture in the last year – #TheJoy150.

Always released as the last #WithChude episode of the year, the widely anticipated list has become known for capturing the current of new and established voices who have pushed boundaries, changes trajectories and forged their own parts in ways that inspire or excite Nigerians and the world. It leads to excitement across the media annually as nominees post and share their nominations.

“These are people who fundamentally follow their spirits, and dance to their own tunes,” Jideonwo said. “I greatly admire people of such courage or such verve. They help preserve the wonder – and the joy – of what it is to be human, and alive.”
