  1. F1

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and shown across cinemas in Nigeria, Sonny Hayes, who was Formula 1’s most promising driver in the 1990s, was involved in an accident on the track, which nearly ended his career. 30 years later, he gets convinced to try again, and on the path, he realizes so many things. 

  1. Ballerina

Follows the life of a ballerina who turned into an assassin seeking revenge for her father’s death. She was trained by the Ruska Roma under Winston’s guidance. Len Wiseman directed this movie, which is available in cinemas.

  1. Mending

Sumi tries her best to navigate her life through past traumas, anxiety stemming from her father’s departure, and her mother’s death. Directed by Robert. O. Peters, you can watch this in cinemas across Nigeria.

  1. ⁠M3gan 2.0

In this horror/sci-fi,  showing across cinemas in Nigeria, and directed by Gerard Johnstone, two years after M3gan, an artificial intelligence, went rogue, it is resurrected to stop a military-grade weapon, Amelia, from causing havoc.

  1. Kpop Demon Hunters

A popular K-pop girl group tries their best to balance their celebrity lives with being demon hunters. Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans directed this movie, which is available on Netflix.

  1. ⁠Squid Game

The new and final season of the Netflix series directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, in which players play games that will determine whether they die or live for a cash prize, is out. 

  1. Olympo 

A swimmer collapses, and this leads Amaia to investigate the measures her fellow athletes take to be successful in this movie directed by a team consisting of Marçal Forès, Daniel Barone, Ibai Abad, and Ana Vázquez, and showing on Netflix.

  1. Oh My Ghost Clients

After narrowly surviving an accident, Noh Moo Jin gets the ability to see ghosts and tries to finish the cases of the restless souls. Directed by Yim Soonrye and Lee Han-Jun, you can stream this movie on Netflix.

  1. Countdown 

This series, directed by Jerick Collantes and Ryan David Price, and showing on Prime Video, follows a suspicious murder. Mark Meachum, an LAPD officer, is recruited to join a secret task force of undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement to investigate.  

  1. ⁠We Were Liars

Directed by Nzingha Stewart, and showing on Prime Video, Cady Sinclair, a 17-year-old girl from a wealthy family, spends her summers on a private island. After suffering a terrible accident, she struggles to remember events that happened in her past.
