Gerard Is Evicted From The BBNaija House
Gerald Adebija known in the BBN space as “Gerard” has become the eighth housemate to leave the Big Brother Naija “Show Ya Sef house, after racking up the lowest votes during the live eviction show on Sunday, 6th of September.
His eviction comes a week after Sultex and Goddessa became the sixth and seventh housemates to leave the reality show. Big Brother Naija season 11 is now in its 7th week airing with 16 contestants vying to claim a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million, the largest payout in the reality show’s history since its debut in 2006.
Bad Bunny Records First Emmy Win For Super Bowl Halftime Show
Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny has won his first Emmy for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. After headlining the Super Bowl, his performance took home seven nominations, winning music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction/camerawork and directing.
Bad Bunny himself won in the outstanding variety special (live) category, with Jay Z winning an Emmy as an executive producer of the show. The Bad Bunny Super Bowl performance has continued to receive praise as one of the most successful and entertaining Super Bowl performances so far.
South Korean BoyBand BTS Close North American Tour, Record Star-Studded Guest List
South Korean Boyband, BTS have ended the North American leg of their tour, after 31 shows with the final four being in LA. After beginning their tour on April 9th, the group have made their way through North America, parts of Asia and now four sold out dates in LA that featured a star-studded audience.
From South-Korean footballer, Son Heung-Min, to one of the stars of Kpop Demon hunters, Arden Cho and the beloved “Mikaelson” patriarch, Sebastian Roche amongst others.
They will continue their ARIRANG World Tour in South America, starting in Bogota on October 2, stopping in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo. They then head to their Asia and Oceania leg of the tour.
Nigerian Model Ends Miss World 2026 Journey With Top 12 Position
Tamunosoye Karibi-George has wrapped up her impressive Miss World journey with a top 12 position, after making it to the Miss World pageant in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Although the title for the final win went to Joheirry Mola of the Dominican Republic, the 26-year-old communications specialist and former Miss World Nigeria winner earned an early spot in the Top 40 after securing the title of Miss World Africa Top Model during the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest.
Tamunosoye advanced to the Top 20 position and ended her race in the Top 12 after gaining virality throughout her journey in the pageantry. Her Top 12 finish marks another strong performance for Nigeria at the pageant, following Joy Mojisola Raimi’s Top 20 placement at the 72nd edition.
American Singer Ciara Announces Pregnancy
American Singer, and dancer Ciara has announced her fifth pregnancy and fourth baby with husband, Sportcaster and former professional football quarterback, Russell Wilson. The couple who have been married for 10-years have welcomed four children together, with them being born in 2017, 2020 and 2023 respectively.
The couple announced their fourth child, and Ciara’s fifth baby in an Instagram post made by the singer on September 6th, and they have received support and love from their colleagues and fans.
