October, unlike Art November, is a slow month for art exhibitions, with most galleries being on a break for the majority of the month. This month is scattered with just a few exhibitions and curated collections from select art galleries, making it a slow month for art in Lagos.
- Residency Open Studio

Hosted by the Windsor Gallery, this exhibition presents the ongoing research and works of Hako Hankson. It is open on the 10th of October.
- Change Machine

Hosted by Nuru Gallery, this solo exhibition by Chuwkuemeka is open until the 10th of October.
- The Weight of Traces

Curated by Soto Gallery, this group exhibition by Ronke Kosmos, Lola Mariam Alli, Odama Paulcy and Oluchi Anaghoba is open until the 10th of October.
- Echoes of Commute

This is a solo exhibition of watercolour paintings by Olusola Olumuyiwa, opening on the 10th of October.
- Border & Other Myths

This exhibition is a project by Carine Mansan, Chigozie Obi, Earnest Amabibi, Cortney Herron, Myles Igwebuike, and Hamed Maiye. Hosted by Gallery Affinity, it is open until October 10th.
- An Endless River

This is a solo exhibition curated by Osaji Chinedu George and hosted by Alliance Française de Lagos. It is open until the 30th of October.
- Nigerian highlife/Juju Golden Era

This is a solo art exhibition by John Kolawole Adewale, hosted by the Adegbola Gallery. It is open until the 31st of October.
